Music Makes a Difference LA is an organization that I founded with the intention to make music available to those who aren’t as fortunate and cannot afford all the costs that come with music themselves.

I do this by coordinating used instrument donations via social media such as Nextdoor and storing the instruments until I have a good allotment. I then contact schools in less economically fortunate areas and/or non-profit music-based organizations to coordinate a pickup time/day.

This whole process gives off such a rewarding feeling both while you are in the motions and after the fact as well. Those who donate used instruments love this program as well because the instruments they donated were most likely just taking up space in their garage and now are going to help a good cause.
